We are glad to invite you to take part in II International theoretical and practical seminar "SVIT GIS – 2012", which will be held in township Kurortnoye (Autonomy Republic of Crimea, Ukraine) from 14th to 18th May, 2012.

The following specialists are invited to the seminar

• specialists of the enterprises engaged in minerals extraction and processing;
• specialists of geological prospecting, exploration, geodesic organizations;
• specialists of research and design organizations;
• specialists of state structures;
• specialists of educational institutions;

Seminar themes

• modern technologies of geospatial data creation and monitoring;
• automated technologies of organization and conduct of mining and geological documentation;
• GIS for subsoil use;
• GIS for geodesy and cartography;
• automated control systems of mining;
• complex projection systems;
• GIS in ecology and nature management;
• GIS in automated system of on-line dispatching control;
• municipal GIS and systems of electronic document management;
• GIS for agriculture;
• experience exchange on GIS application in different spheres of national economy.

Venue for the seminar: boarding house «Krimskoye primorye» (Autonomy Republic of Crimea, township Kurortnoye, at the foot of Kara Dag). Cost of living with three meals a day is not included into the arrangement fee and makes from 280 up to 390 UAH per night depending on accommodation type at present.

Application form. Deadline is March 30, 2012.

Publication of Seminar materials. The main reports will be published in reports collection of the Seminar on paper and in electronic form.

Excursions. Foot walk on Kara Dag is planned.

Arrangement fee for 1 participant is 1450 UAH or 5450 RUB and includes:

• participation in seminar work;
• participant set;
• reports collection;
• PRESENT: full version of GIS K-MINE;
• excursion service (foot walk on Kara Dag is planned as well as visit to the dolphinarium or sea walk);;
• ceremony devoted to SVIT GIS-2012 opening;
• cultural program;
• information and consulting services.

Agreement and bill will be sent you after Organizing committee receives filled in application form. Payment is made in non-cash form. Arrangement fee must be paid at registration.
Drive and living are paid by sending organization and are not included into arrangement fee.

Arrangement fee for students and postgraduates makes 0 UAH (only in case they have student ticket or business trip certificate from educational institution).

February 01, 2012 – the second official invitation for the Seminar

April 12, 2012 – the third official invitation for the Seminar

May 14, 2012 – beginning of the Seminar. Registration.

May 15, 2012 – ceremony of Seminar opening. Friendly evening in honor of Seminar opening.

May 17, 2012 - excursion

May 18, 2012 – closing of the Seminar
